Clinical Philosophy

Accurate diagnosis first. Surgery only when it is truly needed.

Every patient is different. Two people with the same X-ray can need entirely different treatment. My approach is to listen carefully, examine thoroughly, and understand what the pain is actually doing to your daily life — before recommending anything.

  1. Diagnosis before treatment

No plan is made until the source of the pain is clearly identified. Imaging is ordered only when it will change the treatment.

  2. Conservative care first

Medication, physiotherapy, bracing and targeted injections are tried first for the majority of patients — and are often enough.

  3. Surgery when it is clearly better

When surgery is the right answer, it is explained in full — including honest expectations of recovery, risks, and alternatives.

  4. Recovery is part of the treatment

A written rehabilitation plan with milestones and follow-up is included in every case — because healing does not end at discharge.

The consultation felt unhurried. Dr. Saquib explained the fracture, the options, and why a cast was enough in my case. Six weeks later I was back at work with a fully healed wrist.

DISTAL RADIUS FRACTURE · NOV 2025
After years of hearing 'you need surgery,' this was the first opinion that actually examined the joint and started with physiotherapy. My pain is 80% better and no operation was needed.

CHRONIC KNEE PAIN · SEPT 2025
Structured post-surgical plan with clear weekly milestones. Every follow-up had a written note of what to expect. Six months on I'm training again on the pitch.

ACL REHABILITATION · JUL 2025
Honest advice — surgery was not recommended for me. A guided medication and physiotherapy plan resolved the sciatica within four months. I appreciated being spoken to as an adult.

SLIPPED DISC (L4–L5) · MAY 2025
Complicated open tibial fracture from a road accident. Managed calmly, staged correctly, and the limb was saved. The follow-up support during rehab made the biggest difference.

POST-TRAUMA RECONSTRUCTION · MAR 2025
A single guided injection combined with a home exercise plan restored my shoulder movement in weeks. Grateful that surgery was never the first suggestion.
